Promats Pole Vault Pits are designed with the athlete in mind. Vaulter safety, proper deceleration and maximum pole bend are key factors that have influenced the overall design of our vaulting pits.

Promats pole vault pits are made with an inner “honeycomb” polyurethane foam core consisting of several different layers. We offer both 32" and 26" overall thickness. This combination of foam thickness and layering provides for maximum vaulter safety while offering the longest lasting core possible.

The sides and bottom of each pit section are covered with a 18 oz. heavy coated vinyl coated polyester that has a high tear and tensile strength. The use of this vinyl, in combination with our double stitched seams, results in a pit with superior weathering characteristics.

The pit tops and the 2" foam top pad are constructed with a heavy duty vinyl coated polyester mesh which is UV and spike resistant. All of our pits contain durable 2" nylon web handles, buckles, nickel snap hooks and “D” rings.

Our pits carry a 5-year warranty on seams, handles, and hardware attachments.
